Before You Begin
Take a slow, steady breath.
Place one hand on your heart and one on your belly.
Say gently:
“I am safe. I can choose differently. I am in control now.”
Karate Chop (Side of Hand)
Repeat 3x:
“Even though this urge is here, I deeply love and support myself.
Even though part of me wants to reach for that old coping mechanism,
I choose to show up for myself in a new way.
I honor myself for how far I've come.”
Eyebrow:
“This urge feels really strong right now...”
Side of Eye:
“Part of me wants quick relief...”
Under Eye:
“Part of me feels tired of feeling this way...”
Under Nose:
“This urge is familiar... it’s an old pattern.”
Chin:
“But I am not powerless.”

Collarbone:
“I’m learning to respond with strength instead of reaction.”
Under Arm:
“I don’t have to give this urge power over me.”
Top of Head:
“I choose to breathe. I choose to stay present.”
Round Two – Releasing the Urge
Eyebrow:
“This urge is just a feeling...”
Side of Eye:
“Feelings rise and fall...”
Under Eye:
“I can let this one move through me...”
Under Nose:
“I don’t have to engage it...”
Chin:
“I don’t have to obey it...”
Collarbone:
“I’m stronger than this craving.”
Under Arm:
“I am the one in control.”

Top of Head:
“I choose calm. I choose clarity. I choose me.”
Round Three – Reclaiming Power
Eyebrow:
“I am breaking this old cycle.”
Side of Eye:
“I’m proud of myself for pausing.”
Under Eye:
“I’m choosing the future I deserve.”
Under Nose:
“I am remembering my worth.”
Chin:
“I deserve to feel whole.”

Collarbone:
“Every urge I resist makes me stronger.”
Under Arm:
“I trust myself.”
Top of Head:
“I choose freedom.”

Closing Affirmation
