Gentle Cord Releasing

With candles and energetic hands

Before You Begin This ritual is not about removing love. It is about releasing the painful attachments, draining patterns, emotional pull, and energetic residue that keep you stuck.

You’ll use:

• Two candles (representing you and the other energy)

• A cord, string, or ribbon (optional)

• Energetic hands created by rubbing your palms together

• A visualization that feels safe and empowering

Step 1. Prepare Your Space

Place two candles in front of you: one for you, one for them. Light both and whisper: “I honor the connection. I release what hurts me.”

Step 2. Ground Into Safety

Imagine roots wrapping around your legs and sinking into the earth. Say: “I am grounded. I am safe. I am supported.”

Step 3. Build Energy in Your Hands

Rub your palms together until warm and buzzing. This becomes your energetic tool.

Step 4. Visualize the Cord Between You

Imagine a cord connecting you to the person or situation. Let it appear naturally—light, rope, thread, or mist.

Step 5. Call Your Energy Back

Hand on your heart: “Any part of me that I’ve lost or given away... I lovingly call you back now.”

Step 6. Return Their Energy

Hand toward their candle: “What belongs to you, I return with peace.”

Step 7. Release the Cord

Method A: Gentle Pull Gently pull the cord out of your body with compassion. Let it dissolve into light.

Method B: Energetic Sweep Sweep down your body from head to feet: “I clear what is not mine.”

Method C: Physical Cord Cutting

Hold your ribbon between candles. Build energy, then cut or separate the cord: “Thank you for the lessons. I release the pain.”

Step 8. Fill the Space With Healing Light

Imagine white, gold, pink, or blue light filling the space where the cord was removed: “I fill myself with my own light.”

Step 9. Seal the Ritual

Hands on heart: “I am whole. I am mine. I am free. I move forward in peace.”
